Humm, since the ex-wife, Summer Worden, a 44-year-old former Air Force intelligence officer, is prior service return her to AD and charge her under the UCMJ!!! Make the trial public and send a message about making false allegations!!!
I have seen this behavior too many times by spurned love interests. I especially find it difficult when those being accused are later found innocent (as in this case), but the damage is already done. That was the case with one member I knew before they took their own life, seeing no way to recover from the financial and reputation ruining that had taken place. Of course this was in the late 1980s / early 1990s.
Regardless, I have little sympathy for those who lie just to get even and then fain - whatever! When good men and women are decimated in this way, those making such confirmed lies deserve a hammering!!! If this offends some. Tough!!!

Not only do I agree with your assessment, I am bothered by the false allegations against politicians, not only by civilians but also other politicians. These are all real people with families who are also damaged. No matter how often it may be repeated there will always be a sizable number of people who will believe and repeat the original lie

Did she make the claims while she was still on active duty? If not, then no bringing her back to active duty to charge her with a crime committed as a civilian is wrong.

Suspended Profile
If she is retired, or if she committed the crime on active duty she can be recalled. If another discharge, and she commtted the crime after her obligation, she cannot be recalled.

I am with CPO Nate S. on this. We have regulations against this under the UCMJ; the civilian legal system wouldn't go after her. Bring her back on AD and try her.
