Deputy Brigade Commander
Directed and guided a matrix organization of 100 that intensively manages information and collaborates on multiple materiel maintenance initiatives aimed at improving the materiel readiness of the 4th Infantry Division. Directed and guided two sub-organizations with 12 specialized work units of 1600 soldiers to sustain the 4th Infantry Division’s 26,000 people and combat equipment. Coached, trained, and mentored a Sustainment Brigade Staff of over 150 officers and soldiers to sustain 26,000 soldiers and combat equipment of the 4th Infantry Division. Direct and guide two subordinate organizations with 12 specialized work units and 1600 soldiers.

Garrison Commander
Led a 400 person organization in support of a 6500 acre research and development facility with over 1000 buildings, 80 miles of road, 13 bridges and 2 federal dams; installation is designated on the National Environmental Priority List. Planned and implemented base support including public works, emergency services, security, environmental protection, community/family support for 71 families, law enforcement, a professional fire department, contract/resource management, safety, and religious support with a budget of $60M per year.

Planned, coordinated, and delivered several multinational exercises in support of the Supreme Allied Commander’s Guidance for Training and Exercises that resulted in collaborative training for soldiers from 49 nations, to include support of operations in Afghanistan.
