NASA's 4K virtual tour of Earth's moon

Good Afternoon RP... Earlier today, maj-william-w-bill-price posted his APOD titled
"Apollo 13 Views of the Moon." and He further wrote "Next month will mark the 50th anniversary of Apollo 13. In order to get home, the astronauts had to traverse the proverbial "dark side of the Moon" at what still remains the highest absolute altitude attained by a crewed spacecraft: 400,171 kilometers (248,655 mi) from Earth at 7:21 pm EST, April 14 (00:21:00 UTC April 15), 1970."

In doing some research, I found an excellent adjunct video to the Major's outstanding APOD video and it is titled "NASA's 4K virtual tour of Earth's moon", which was released on Monday, April 9, 2012 and published to YouTube on April 12th... The data taken and shown was from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft. The detail provided adds to what the Apollo 13 astronauts captured when they were on the far side of the moon... I strongly recommend that both the Major's video and this video be watched on the largest monitor screen you have available to you... Both videos are magnificent in detail...
