Over Penetration of Rounds

To be honest shotguns are wonderful weapons for indoors defense IMHO.

Glad someone finally said it. Another angle to this is statistics; accidental shootings parallel to intentional shootings do occur...but how frequently? On average, there are about 400 "accidental deaths" associated with firearms per year. That includes everything from children obtaining unsecured firearms, to adults misusing weapons, to the "stray round" scenario. I'm sure that if you include accidental, non-lethal injury; that number goes up some...but we're not talking about a "rash" of innocent injuries or deaths attributed to "over-penetration". By the way; I do realize "one" is "too many"...but we have to be pragmatic and realistic. The situation that most concerns me is not "home defense"...John lays out several advantages to fighting "on you own field" in his video. No, what worries me is being forced to use a weapon while in a public space. Depending on where you live or work, and what the relative threats are...it may be more likely that something will go down at an intersection while driving, while shopping at a mall, or in an office environment. Realistically, I think the best you can do is train to consider line of sight...and naturally, make good decisions on the front end regarding choosing the right tools.
