Lt Col Charlie Brown - Energy Storage is evolving, perhaps not as fast as everyone would like, but it is changing... We have gone from a lead/acid battery, to a more solid batter, to an alkaline based battery methodology to a Lithium/Ion Battery process... and so it evolves... The Saltwater battery is in process and it uses the saltwater ions as the means to store a charge. Solar batteries are also being worked on in various stages...although the cost is a bit higher... We live in an exciting time from a scientific development standpoint... It is all very interesting, to say the least.
