Currently recharging the batteries- have had a lot of irons in the fire this past year and 2020 is shaping up the same. A few years ago I tended to get buried by the movement around me- now I have learned to control it more. It is still wearing on a person, but hope it makes me a better leader in the end. Enjoy your Saturday RP

Always welcome my dear...planning to go to post office on Friday. Have Pain Doctor appointment on Wednesday. Have to leave later today and won’t be back home until Thursday. Been hectic since Friday! My Mom was in car accident, daughter “forgot” my grandson at school that day...School called me Monday morning to pick him up due to ‘behavior’ incident-third time in past week! Mom is getting rental car today and I’ve been assisting two Veterans with VA and legal issues. Have been asked to assist one with legal deposition for DOJ lawsuit...combining therapeutic conditions, terminology with legal presentation. Really combining both of my areas of interest and knowledge and prepping me for my lawsuits. In addition to Granddon’s Birthday and Christmas preparations. Mailing packages is last mission before tree and house decorations! Then planning to spend New Years at North Myrtle Beach with My Mom-need to ‘get away’ from daughter’s drama! She creates chaos and tries to ‘suck’ everyone into her drama! Have mastered the art of distance! Still emotionally taxing...Hoping mail arrives by Christmas! If not, then before New Years! Stay safe and call, message, or text when you get a minute...

I expect that you are spiritually mature and are learning to balance your time and energy to meet requirements of yourself and also take time for fun and relaxation Robert.
I pray that you are I are servant leaders at heart and that we are attuned to the needs of those we lead, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Robert Thornton.
Thank YOU, LORD for establishing the sabbath. The sabbath concept applies to all humans, crops, and so much more. I lift each adopted son and daughter of YOURs. Help dear God to remember to lift our burdens up to YOU.
I pray dear God for parents of young children that YOU bless them with understanding of their spouse/mate even while they are learning about the child or children they birthed or adopted. Build up trust in the parents and help them to take time to rest on a regular basis. I pray that young parents have outlets to release their frustrations without anger. Take up their burdens as much as YOU are willing to dear LORD.
I pray dear God for managers and leaders of complex organizations who are transferred in from another organization. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear and trustworthy people to educate them about the organization and the personnel. I pray for wisdom for each transferred manager and leader.
I lift the homeless families up to YOU this winter. I pray that YOU motivate them to find suitable and secure shelter. Guide them to trustworthy caretakers and allow the homeless to rest, get cleaned up, relax and get recharged this winter. I pray that YOU open the doors to employment and housing for these families.
I lift the mentally ill and injured to YOU -especially those suffering from frequent nightmares and sleeplessness. Help each one to lift their burdens to YOU. I thank YOU that YOU freely take up our burdens.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Saturday night.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Often weary and worn on the pathway below,
When the burden is heavy, my heart throbs with woe;
Oh, there comes a sweet whisper to quell ev’ry sigh,
“Do not faint ’neath the load, there is rest by and by.”
