NASA has studied many different star systems seeking Exoplanets in their Habitable Zones. Many of these star systems are many many light years away....But bringing us back to our nearest star system, Alpha Centauri, which is a Triple Star System... and one of the three stars is a Red Dwarf star with a planet in its marginal habitable zone... It should be noted that the Alpha Centauri system is 4.24 Light Years from Earth and even at this distance we will not be visiting it anytime in the near future...
