"None of (them) came to Congress to impeach a President".
Tell that to Rep Tlaib.

If they are there to do anything else, they could've fooled me. Congress hasn't passed a single piece of consequential legislation since being sworn in back in January. By the looks of it, that won't change anytime soon. So if they are not there to impeach, what exactly are they there for?

Capt Gregory Prickett - Sounds familiar from the Harry Reid days, doesn't it. Dude wrote the manual for this kind of behavior.
Having said that, most if not all of the consequential legislation the House passed were for show, knowing full well the Senate would never concur. Serious attempts to actually make laws that might be of use have been torpedoed in both houses for political purposes.
Case in point, the new NAFTA. Great majorities in both houses know it is what is good for America, but does it see the floor? Nope.
