Interesting article, thanks for sharing. Our reality is purely based on our perceptions. therefore, our truth is also based on our own realities, no matter what the shared "facts" of any certain group may hold. I have seen a lot of these factual anomalies, both with the mentally ill and amongst we "normal people."
This is definitely fun debate material for an evening of philosophical discussions.

No disrespect intended, but this (and other) study(ies) glosses over the importance of perception and context. 'Fact' is an absolute; "on earth, water freezes at 32 F", or "the the speed of light in a vacuum is 299,792,458 metres per second." Statements such as, "it's cold outside", or "he was moving fast" are less substantial, subject to interpretation, and may vary in veracity, relative to the person receiving them. For example; a Norwegian may find 40 F quite warm...or a person from the 18th Century think 20 mph a breakneck speed. These biases are no less impactful upon the establishment of fact, merely because other biases may preclude them.
