What an individual does to their property is their business. If it is a business then I’d go somewhere else. It’s pretty easy. Now let me find that rainbow flag. Let me burn it and let’s see the reaction to those on the left.

I thought we were talking about a piece of dyed cloth and then it steered into racism. MSgt Kurt S.

I don't think that banning or desecrating the flag will kick the door in to send Americans to jail for being opposition members. This p/c correct b.s. is driving me crazy. I only want to see Iranians burn the U.S. flag not anti fascist-fascist pussies or others on US campuses who can't tolerate other than progressive points of view. I may not like President Trump's style sometimes but sometimes I do like his avant-garde way of thinking. What he is asking for is not overturning Roe vs. Wade. I know some states want that done but that will not happen. The only people hurt by the US flag Ammendment will be anarchists, Marxists and those academia who fire teachers who don't give all students a trophy (not just the top 3) and those teachers who fails students who don't do their homework. What class of people will be hurt by this??

Edmonton teacher fired for breaking 'no zero policy' won't get job back
A veteran Edmonton teacher who was fired for giving zeros to students who didn't hand in their homework or take tests will get to keep money he was previously awarded but he won't get his job back.

MAJ Bryan Zeski Brian, I am so happy you showed this to me. I still thought it was an issue on American campuses. I don't know how I missed this. I listen to National Public Radio everyday

LTC (Join to see) - I hear you, what I'M finding funny is that, in this very thread, there are people arguing in favor of a flag burning ban... and those are the same people who cry about government overreach in any other conversation. Weird how both sides seem to take the opposition values on occasion.

LTC (Join to see) - I'm sure it IS still an issue, to be honest. An EO from the President is nice to have, but it doesn't really solve the problem or provide any kind of teeth for enforcement.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - Same here, sadly though it seems like an almost impossible task.

I support President Trump on this one. I say it is hate speech. Our flag represents our country, our Constitution, our freedoms. Many of our brothers and sisters died protecting our country, our way of life. Burning the flag is a slap in the face.

Isn't one of those freedoms, the freedom to protest the government? Flag burning is exactly that. Sure, burning the flag may be a slap in the face to you. But, Nazis walking down the streets is a slap in the face to many people, too, and yet there they are. With a police escort to boot.
Freedom of speech doesn't end when it doesn't fit your opinion. That wouldn't be freedom, that would be tyranny.

And if you burn it the wrong way in front of this. Veteran while I’m stomping out the flag my boot by mistake it may hit some on them in the butt and I’ll apologize but their ass hurts the same

PO2 John Zodun - I like how people who are so "Patriotic" that they would violate the very core tenet values of the nation they are Patriotic about because someone disagrees with them.
That's not Patriotism, that's extreme Nationalism and is essentially why the Founding Fathers rebelled against England to start this great experiment in the first place.
