Deployed with a beard??? When the British Strike Force sailed for the Falklands, bearded, Royal Navy Officers and Seamen, were required to shave, this, to ensure a good seal, should their Gas Respirator be required, in the event of a gas attack. As a the RMOA and CFT, I should require the soldiers, sailors, and airmen to do the same. I'll be busy enough in my roll, never mind, all bearded men, of whatever rank, adding to my busy workload!
