Thank you, my friend PO1 H Gene Lawrence for making us aware about the $14.99 Desert Camo Paracord Bronze Flag Bracelet. The proceeds from sales helps fund the efforts of GreaterGood.org to pair military veterans with a Service Dog or Shelter Dog.
"The story behind this product started with a question we asked ourselves: how can we serve those who’ve served us? For the iHeartDogs team, the answer was loud and clear: Help provide companion dogs to veterans who served our country so faithfully.
Many of our brave soldiers return home with physical and emotional injuries that make it difficult to transition back to day-to-day life.
As many as 20% of returning veterans suffer from PTSD. Currently, there are veterans waiting to be paired with a dog and more can be helped with your support. It’s a win-win!
Our charity partner GreaterGood.org provides funding to organizations that pair companion dogs with veterans. Whether they are suffering from a disability or PTSD, the impact these animals have on the lives of our vets is undeniable and world changing!
Currently, there are many veterans waiting to be paired with the right pet.
Here’s where our idea came to life: how could we build a fashionable, useful product that could help fund companion dogs for our vets? Our idea was this survival paracord bracelet! If you find yourself in a bind, this bracelet can be unravelled and the extra durable paracord material can be used for a tie down or even a temporary dog leash! The possibilities are endless."
Thanks for mentioning me, my friends SGT John " Mac " McConnell and SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
