So often we find ourselves waiting for others to notice the good stuff we do and when they don't we are disappointed and we stop working or we put forth less effort. If the task is worth doing, it is worth doing well, regardless of the external appreciation. What you have to do is work to learn self motivation so you no longer rely on others. This can be a hard skill to develop but it is worth the time. Once you have this in your toolbox, you are unstoppable. Where can you practice self motivation today?
