Its great that you like it SGM, and many other soldiers as well. However; it seems to me that many of those who are voting for it will be long gone by the time the mandatory wear date reaches us.

MSgt Paul Connors negative, I'm going to 30 so 2035 for me. And yes, I know the timeline.

SFC Michael Hasbun - I was beginning to think that sense had broken out and maybe we'd keep the same uniform for a while... long enough to retire anyway.
Nope.
It looks sharp, I will grant you, but we literally made the switch to blues a couple of years ago, and the exact arguments about daily wear were made.
Sigh, Army.
The Marines figured it out, why can't we?

MSgt Paul Connors - Oh I think the uniform is sharp. My heartburn is the notion that we have to change major uniform items every couple of years. Seems to me that the main impetus is to have a legacy for the Chief of Staff an/or SMA. Pick one. Stick with it.

Does make one wonder just who the money trail on this decision may reach, eh? I mean outside of every taxpayer in the nation. And personally I don't think the term "Pinks and Greens" will go away any time soon.

There are so many things that waste so much more money. I actually like them. I hope it’s the daily uniform. I think it’s ridiculous to wear a combat uniform to my office every day. Not to mention the closest I’ve come to combat is the jerk at the red light down the road.
