My friend SP5 Mark Kuzinski I just returned from a trip to Fort Belvoir and passed by the construction entrance to the National Museum of the United States Army on the Fairfax County Parkway (SR 286) for the first time in five weeks.
1. The entrance roadway now has a paved lane into the project. The layout uses the trees about 100 yards in to divert traffic to the right [only construction traffic is authorized at this point [first roads left and right of paved roadway.
2. The traffic lights have been installed at the intersection into the National Museum of the United States Army [approximately 1/2 mile west of Kingman Road entrance.] The lights were flashing yellow when we passed at 1530 and 1845 Romeo time.
3. There is a paved lane exit off the eastbound lanes of the Fairfax County Parkway which will allow traffic to enter the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Army once it is open to the public [expected next year]
FYI Lt Col Charlie Brown SSG William Jones LTC Ivan Raiklin, Esq. MAJ (Join to see) CPT Gabe Snell SGT (Join to see) SPC Douglas Bolton SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

Lt Col Charlie Brown - I will make a visit as soon as it opens. I have a brick in the walkway.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski - let me know when you are headed this way. Coffee with friends is even better than coffee alone.
