COL Mikel J. Burroughs I have been reminded of this resently, that tomorrow is not a given, our next breath not promised, that there is no guarantee of the opportunity to get issues with others right before one passes away, that it is not just ourselves affected and that our eternal future cannot wait for a tomorrow which may never come. So, I will make the most of this post to let Rally Point know . . . 1) you are family, regardless of if we've ever spoken, met, agreed, it matters not. Simply, we are Rally Point, we are kin and there is no need to agree, just accept that we are family and each is loved. Don't wait 'til a hospital bed, or a passing opens your eyes.

Good morning Mikel and all of you here on RallyPoint! Another great day of motivational quotes! I am reminded of a quotation that is fitting.

“Today is only one day in all the days that will ever be.”
― Ernest Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls

Make it a good one!I

So many good ones today. Going to go with Time Flies and I am the Pilot. I may be biased with my blue suit background but I believe we all have some control over our destiny as a pilot does over his aircraft. Safe travels Col.

That is the one to pick today Marty. Have a good drill weekend brother and I'm getting ready to pilot that 946 pound 2015 CVO Roda Glide Ultra up to Sturgis in 1 hour. Take care brother, work hard, get a lot accomplished this weekend, and enjoy life Maj Marty Hogan

Maj Marty Hogan , you’re absolutely right! We are the once that make the choices everyday, so for the most part we’re in control and the occasional mishap, just like with an aircraft you have to try your best to get it back under control and if you can’t, then pick up the pieces after it’s all done and move on from there with lessons learned.

You pilot's have a great situation to uphold. In Viet-Nam I fought with the 1st Cavalry Division and you were there when we needed you, and pilots are no longer with us since they gave their lives to help us and for their Country. We love you guys, from an Airborne Infantry Grunt.
