I think worry and fear are given to us for a reason. That being said the emotions should not control us. I am practicing welcoming it, then determining it’s relevance and if not relevant minimizing it.

Yes Sir! I totally agree with this concept. Now, the problem is that not everyone can do this due to the fact that most let our emotions take over us which lead us into bad situations. Sometimes we are so quick to react to things, events or situations without allowing ourselves to reflect, then make or take the most appropriate course of action.

1SG Carl McAndrews - That's awesome 1SG! I wish my spouse's boss see it the way you do. I'm not saying that because it is my wife, but the diner she works at would go down if she ever leaves or has to be out for health issues. This stresses the hell out of her...all the time. I tell her that at some time, the rest of the staff have to figure out things on their own, but you can't be there all the time...don't stress too much about it.

Good morning! When I get caught up in stress, I have to always remind myself "Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles, it takes away today’s peace." And we aren't promised tomorrow anyway--if this were my last day on earth, I don't want to spend it worrying about what might happen. thank you!

Great thoughts. Carry only today's burden and it it manageable. Add yesterday and tomorrow's and you collapse under the weight.
