Thursday, June 14, 2018 - The Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day! Good Morning from Erie, PA on Day 7 of the RIP RIDE 4 Vets.
Day 6 in the record books and I had the great privilege and honor of riding with Sgt Randy Wilber "The Tank" and his two friends (Paul and John) all the way from Allegany, NY to Erie, PA where we had dinner together. Another great "Meet and Greet" along this historic RIP RIDE 4 Vets. Headed to Chicago, IL today to spend the night with my second daughter Maddie. Tomorrow we travel 460 miles.

Sometimes you have to step up and take what you need. There are some places we can take without asking but saying thanks or showing gratitude will help keep the supply flowing. We feed our bodies when we are hungry. So too, we should feed ourselves when we are low in spirit or our emotional energy lags.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs I feel I already knew who you are a caring leader who gets things done, it was a great Honor to meet you COL Mikel J. Burroughs and your wife Bella and especially ride with you.
Great motivational scriptures today, I like them all but I'll narrow it down to "7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 7:7-8
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Phil 4:13
We have a Awesome Heavenly Father who if you ask you shall receive He will give you guidance, wisdom, grace, strength, and so very much more. All you need to do is know Him have a relationship with God and you will have Eternal life.
Have a Blessed and great Thursday Mikel and family and RP family. Praying for safe travels my friend and for your bike to run flawlessly for all the miles ahead of you and your lovely wife.

Today is Flag Day- take what you need. What is it we need- to come together now. Today I will leave a thought- remember what the Flag stands for and honor it. Take what you need- this is a free country, but you must also earn your place and the right to take what you need. Safe travels again today Col- will message later to see where/when you are in Omaha. I am slammed at work and two hours away and if I can escape... I will try.
