COL Charles Williams Only had to do C-Rations Once in Adak during a mild Condition Alpha, Never Again. Those were Nasty Colonel!

Actually, I liked ‘em all, though LRPs gave me the worst constipation in my life probably because I didn’ t take with enough water. C’s and MREs are great if you don’t have to pack too many. Never tried the old WWII “K” rats my dad used to tell stories about. In general, I never had problems with any military chow. It was better than my own fixins..... I’ve heard more effort is made now in providing better “rats” (yum!) :)
