I would have said born on Armistice Day before the Great War was fought since he served in that war SGT (Join to see) and Armistice Day was named in honor of the surrender of Germany on that French caboose.
In any event thank for reminding us that November 11 is the anniversary of the birth of Lieutenant General George Smith Patton Jr. who was instrumental in leading the U.S. Third Army France and Germany and the initial bloodying in Tunisia in 1943.
It is sad that he was killed in an automobile crash in 1945.
