I fully expect the DC govt to attempt to delay, sidestep and tapdance its way around this ruling, as it has in the past. If DC appeals the ruling to the Supreme Court, as it well might, I would hope the SCOTUS would refuse the case and let the ruling stand.

I'm pretty sure this ruling conflicts with the rulings of other courts like the 9th Circuit, so SCOTUS might feel compelled to address it.

SSgt Christopher Brose - 9th? Does that mean there are at least 8 other courts? Those other courts do not agree with those 9th rulings for their states.
