When I worked for a large NC company we used this program extensively. It's worth looking into. NC cares about its vets.

As employer it was the quality of the candidates. They don't just produce network engineers but really help vets understand how working in the civilian world is different from the military while
retaining the best qualities of what makes vets special. They also align with DOL apprenticeship guidelines which in some states means paid apprenticeships at little or no cost to the employer.

As a vet, while I did not go through the program, I think the benefits are as follows:

- Vets training vets
- Apprenticeship
- Faster than going to college which means making decent money sooner
- Excellent industry connections result in good placements.
- High quality training
