The problem with the Turks is that they hate the Kurds, when in fact they're the most dependable fighters the U.S. has in the Syrian fighting! The situation is akin to Vietnam when we should have solely backed the Montagnards and say to hell with the South Vietnamese, but alas history repeats itself!

Here is a YPG video of actual YPG fighters helping fight against ISIL but now the Turks are going to try to wipe them out. I know that some elements in the Kurd people did attack Turkey in the past and still do today.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLMtTQsiW6I

If the U.S. turns its back on the Kurds again, it will be one of the biggest diplomatic mistakes in our history. We have broken every promise to them. How many more times can we do that? I can't began to imagine that they trust us now.

They helped us out when Turkey said no to the invasion in 2003. I hope our peaceful regime change in February will help us help the Kurds. Turkey and Russia are dancing while our Government leaders fiddle as the world burns.
