And some wonder why England voted to leave the EU. The ability for undocumented and unsavory people to move across borders in Europe is a real concern. Country "A" in the EU allows them in and they can get on a train and go anywhere in the EU with no passport or anyone knowing or understanding what their intentions are. Clearly not all are bad but if enough are (even a small percentage) the havoc the can wreak will be huge.
I think we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in Europe today as it related to radical Islamic violence. Merkel and other leaders of the EU have left their countries highly vulnerable and their citizens at risk and they seem not to care much. We are seeing mostly individuals radicalized by the internet or other means. Soon I think wolf packs of 3-5 attacking will be the norm. We have already seen this in Paris. I will become more common. The question is will some of these counties have the fortitude to weed out, with radical islamist extremist evil among them.

I am aware of the process as my wife is a Brit and I go there pretty regularly. There is still a very easy path from being a "refugee" into Germany and ending up in London. When people have no documentation what definitive or legitimate cause can you have not to let them move freely? A lot is clearly economic in the Brexit vote but immigration was a large element.

Pretty sad to hear it from her perspective. There needs to be more help from the Central Governments. My mother used to be the Executive Director of a United Way agency called the International Institute of Los Angeles. It was a place for Immigrants started over 100 years ago after the influx from Europe before WW1 to learn about American Culture, learn English, get social services and to keep their old Culture Alive with festivities and culture from the old world.
Germany, I am sure has done some of this but with the overwhelming refuguees from Africa, Afghanistan and the Middle East (Libya, Syria, Iraq and maybe now Turkey and other countries) overwhelming the EU, they need to do more so bright but afraid kids of Germany would not be putting videos like this to the world to see.
It is sad the German government censored this.

Either direction cultures are vastly different. This young girl had every right to be scared.

Immigrants from anywhere in the world don't immerse themselves in to the culture in which they immigrate, whether refugees or just moving or traveling. if one has never traveled outside your own country, there is a culture shock that is well known and exists in all of us. When we deploy to Afghanistan, do we adopt their culture? Are we any different to them? Do we respect their norms? Wake up people, not everyone acts as we have been raised, and welcoming refugees comes with a burden.

SSG Jarrod Stover - If you are an immigrant you come with a desire to be American. If you come as a refugee, you are rarely welcomed, you have just left a life threatening situation, you have lost your home, maybe family. Are American military the only people suffering with PTS? Insulting other cultures because of there dress, shows you didn't really grasp their experience. You didn't try to help them as allies against a common enemy. They were so foreign to you you were unable to learn about their culture, their language, their dress. This is an important part of understanding a bigger picture. The world is not America. We are just a part of a diverse global community. Respect goes both ways.
