Benny Hill continued the tradition of slap stick in Britain after it died in America. The really funny thing is that one of the best physical comedians I ever saw was Cary Grant. He get a greater laugh than other physical comedians because it seemed so out of character. Benny Hill, Laurel and Hardy, the Three Stooges, et al, all looked like jokes. Grant was suave and debonair which made the surprise even greater when he did a prat fall.

Public TV, Benny Hill and Monty Python were Dad and I's bread and butter.

As somebody born and raised by British citizens I learned very early that some British humor is appreciated by many but others are not SSgt (Join to see) My parents loved the Good Show which included Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan on the radio program. I always appreciated Monty Python more than Benny Hill; but, that is just my opinion.
Thanks for sharing a humorous video.

Firesign Theater? There are some really good parodies. The Boys in the Hall and others, some of the best ever! Monty Python, "That bird is not dead, it is sleeping!": hahaha
