What do think about the University of Nebraska – Kearney caving in to a minority which was opposed to Chick-fil-A when the vast majority voted for it? COL Mikel J. Burroughs LTC Stephen C. SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - as far as I know around where I live they still provide the Spicy Chicken Deluxe. Hopefully they still do where you live.

This is hilarious -
“When we learned more about Chick-fil-A and its corporate values and discriminatory policies, and after hearing these concerns raised by a section of our student body, we concluded that these corporate values are not aligned with our values as a student body, and it is not in the best interest of our UNK community to pursue Chick-fil-A right now,”
So let me get this straight - Chic-Fil-A has discriminatory policies and corporate values like believing in strong marriages, devoted families, and the highest standards of character for their workers and the Queer Straight Alliance (QSA) believes there should be a supportive environment for everyone except Chic-Fil-A - and what they say goes apparently... OK - got it.

While I don't hold the views of the company's owners, they have a right to hold those views

Isn't this what is known as 'the tyranny of the minority?" Why should a small handful of people dictate to the rest of the college community, who are the majority, what they can and cannot have access to on campus?? Aren't you supposed to go to college to get an education and to learn how to think for yourself?? If you don't believe in the particular standards or morals of a particular business or organization, don't support them. Pack your own lunch or eat elsewhere. Put on your big boy/big girl pants and quit having a temper tantrum every time you're confronted with something you disagree with......people are different; be tolerant and accepting of different points of view.
