What is the best program for veterans to participate in if they're considering running for elected office or getting involved in politics?

Answering the Call is a non-partisan leadership development program for veterans questioning if they want to run for office.
The New Politics Leadership Academy (501c3) is dedicated to creating opportunities for veterans to engage in politics. We create a new pipeline for service members who choose politics as the next step in their journey?

Although I said yes, people seeking public office are gluttons for punishment. Anyone, veterans included will need a strong constitution to go through with it.

We definitely need to improve our leadership prospects, however, veteran status doesn't necessarily correlate with the leadership skills needed for elected office. Some would do a good job, and I would be all for them stepping up, while others would be better off serving society in another capacity. This is one area that veteran status means little to me (until the politician is running for the Presidency anyway)
