The Sears Catalogue and the Montgomery Wards Catalogue were staples in our house! The Christmas Editions were a lovely dream land for the toy sections when I was little. And I remember sitting at my Best Friend house, as he and his sister picked out their clothes for the following year from the Montgomery Catalogue. And my Uncle told me that his best friend bought his first house thru the Sears catalogue ! A house!

We have quit a few of the Sears bungalows in the Tampa Bay area. Most demand over the top prices when they come up for sale. A Montgomery Ward snowblower was the best piece of equipment I've ever owned.

Back when I was doing my paper on them, the builders in my town said that they were built much better than modern homes. They had to survive shipping during those days and so they were made much heavier than today’s homes. Some of the homes I looked at and talked to the owners. The houses were over 100 years old and still in good shape.

For better or worse, brick and morter stores in malls are becoming dinosaurs. Those that survive have successfully integrated online shopping into their business plan. Those that can't will ultimately fail. The exception are local small businesses, but they're in an entirely different market segment.

Jack, Another retired army officer excited something summer to your commentary...

'Amazon and culture changes.

The modern generation prefers to shop online so all the brick and mortar stores are dying.
Bed Bath and Beyond closed all their physical locations this past year and went completely online. Best Buy isn't far behind them. Even the stores that are still brick and mortar lack inventory. It's all in a warehouse somewhere.

I don't know why they want to live like this, but the consumers are changing the market and it's all going online.'

I also commented how Amazon is very predatory. And if you don't match your prices on amazon with everybody else's prices on your own or other websites your purchase box disappears...

My wife and I saw the full video from Tucker Carlson.Because he doesn't investigate a report separate. Now that he got kicked off of fox news he's still alive and kicking in the media realm.

Maj (Join to see) We also have spirit of halloween that pops up right around the first week of october selling overpriced halloween items since they make a few billion dollars sales and everybody is just as crazy appear to buy all the halloween stuff. I have seen full front yards full of inflatable machine rhyme monsters and Other creatures that are as highest fifteen feet tall.
