FourBlock: helping Veterans figure out how to land a job they love in transition

This looks like an amazing program. I love the idea of visiting different companies and the cohort idea is excellent and would make most military vets comfortable.

I attended a FourBlock event at MetLife and was impressed. They basically had a couple dozen vets show up in a corporate office building in NYC. Each vet had the chance to give their quick personal elevator pitch to their peers and get feedback on it. Then there was an interactive session with HR professionals at MetLife who talked about tips for interviewing and negotiating job offers. The event concluded with networking and drinks so the vets could meet the employers in the room in a social setting. It was very well done and I wish all transitioning vets could go through this program in their own community.

I would have them do Myers-Briggs Assessment
