They really take care of us. Last year, they gave us SUVs with satellite radio to drive around our base. They will give us 15 passenger minivans to take our Advance party when we arrive at the airport. Those are rental vans as well the local rental agencies. They pay for everything up in Canada. We paid for the shipping of the stuff up to Canada and they pay for the shipping of the stuff going back to the USA. No money exchanges hands.

One time our Armor Battalion sponsored a Canadian Unit and it was reciprocated. When the Canadians arrived we sent them to the field and gunnery. When our soldiers went to Canada they partied their asses off.

General order number one applies for us and Canadian can smoke pot 8 hours before shift due to their leadership allowing pot nationally starting October of last year. Not a good leadership move by prime minister Trudeau. Anyways, we are not allowed to partake in pot smoking and we will not drink at all. Still, we have the Judge Advocate General along with us so if problems come up up, we are prepared
