I firmly believe the powers that be don't want KSM to go to trial. They want the plea deal for whatever reason.
I can't print what I really think should happen to him. After all, almost 3,000 people died due to his master minding Sept 11th.

MSG Stan Hutchison - KSM et al are at least unlawful combatants. In 1942 that's all it took for 6 of 8 German saboteurs, caught dry foot in the US, to be denied habeas corpus, tried by military commission, convicted and electrocuted to death, all within 8 weeks of capture. The 2006 & 2009 Military Commissions Acts subverted justice.

LTC (Join to see) - Not really. Unlawful combatants are not automatically given habeas corpus, they must apply for it. The US Supreme Court has been stingy with that. Technically, they are entitled to absolutely nothing. Reference Operation Pastorius in 1942.

It is amazing how our politicians and judges are willing to forgive mass murdering enemies of this country. KSM deserves nothing but a lingering death, as do his flunkies. But instead of facing the executioner, he's going to get three boys and a cot in a gray bar hotel.
