Therapy Dogs For Veterans

The Dodo shares the story of Army veteran Carlos and his loving pup, Hannah. K9s For Warriors is a non-profit organization that provides therapy dogs for Veterans who have PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or military sexual trauma (MST). The goal is to provide a new “leash” on life to both the dog and the Veteran as the dogs are rescued from high kill shelters.
