Why Is It So Hard to Sleep in a New Place?

Lt Col Charlie Brown I go to the same AirBNB every year for my taxidermy convention in South Carolina. Even the first year I didn't have any issues with sleeping in a strange place.

I didn't when I was younger, I fell asleep in a Box once (it was full of soft packing material) after working almost 32 hours straight while on a Maintenance TDY in Germany. There were only two of us in Avionics Instruments and the other guy got food poisoning and was sick as a dog so I pulled both our shifts.
