Years ago, I went to a class specifically for youth mental health and how to spot student at high risk of committing suicide. I have referred a couple of students to their counselors for further help. I don't know that I saved anyone's life but if I knew there was a problem, but I didn't take action, that would be something I would have to live with for the rest of my life.
