Good Sunday morning Rally Point. I am looking forward to a very busy week ahead. A lot of workshops both for Red Cross and for counselors dealing with grief and loss. Good to be getting back into the swing of things.
It's important to remember that we can't change the past. We can and should learn from it, but all of our opportunities lie in the present and the future if we plan properly and take advantage of what is available to us. Don't miss out on what good things are available because you are busy mourning missed opportunities; those are gone. There are new ones on the horizon. Have courage and have faith.

Lt Col Charlie Brown Sometimes it is hard not to look back and think "what if." As I get older I do that too often but still try to stay focused on what I can continue to accomplish in my life.

Good “Sunday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Eagle’s Nest” in The Woodlands, TX! — 19 September 2021!
Today is: “Look Ahead Day!” Why Not?
MY PERSONAL QUOTE:
"If we were meant to look behind, our eyes would have been placed in the back of our heads by God... It was not meant to be, as God and the genetics He imparted on us, desires us all to look ahead." - Kerry F. Harkins - September 19, 2021
"Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead." - Kara Goucher
"The secret to so many artists living so long is that every painting is a new adventure. So, you see, they're always looking ahead to something new and exciting. The secret is not to look back." - Norman Rockwell
"Watching people react, watching people be inspired, be taken on a journey, forgetting their problems, looking ahead in their own lives to doing impossible things. That's kind of what drives me, gives me a sense of focus." - David Copperfield
"Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead." - Nora Ephron
"It is always wise to look ahead, but difficult to look further than you can see." - Winston Churchill
"You can almost measure where you are in life by the degree to which you have begun looking back rather than ahead." - Ted Koppel
It is always important to note and ask this question:
“Why do leaders need to look ahead? They must move the present organization and team to a desired future end state. They must analyze trends both inside and outside the organization. They must adapt, overcome, and be ready to change course, but most of all be futuristic in their vision.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
