Article on Army’s new “Pinks and Greens”
Personally, I like the look, but something inside me says this uniform should be reserved for the “Greatest Generation”.
Note: Towards the end of the article, it was stated by the SGM, “Women, of course, were not allowed to serve in the active duty Army during that time, and so there was no special, female version of the uniforms.” My mother was an active duty WAC during WWII. I have a picture of her in her “pinks and greens”. What am I missing here?

In some people's minds the WAC was not "real Army"

Sure, if I can find it. Hopefully it’s stored with the one of my Dad (not together) from WWII.
