As for drawing/painting, it's mostly about how much you want to spend the time to learn. If it's not a priority (and for most people, it's not), then you'll only have the basics, just like any other skill in life. I followed Bob Ross videos (they are free on YouTube, now!) until I figured it out, but it was an outlay of time and effort. Luckily, I had the time where I could do so.
