This submarine has a miniature sub that could go cut the internet cable and communication lines isolating the US from Europe and the UK from the rest of the world.
The Sub also has long-range nuclear Torpedoes that could probably destroy a carrier battle group especially if the carrier battle group is next to a Port City because the nuclear torpedo can cause a tsunami and Destroy both.

Color me skeptical ... Will she be formidable? Maybe. She is a monster for sure, and IF the Poseidon nuclear torpedo system actually works as advertised, a serious threat. On the other hand, she is a stretched Oscar II hull, boats well known to our submarine warriors, and known to be not particularly stealthy. Barring major acoustic performance improvements, she should be relatively easy for our subs to track.

Unlike some of you here, I look at every one of these as possibly true and I'm sure that the US military is coming up with some kind of countermeasure. We also did happened to the Russian communication line back in the 1990s. So if we can do it, they can do it.
