Oh the memories of black ice when driving to base in North Dakota. Some ditches and I became great friends.

one could always tell when the newbies had arrived. Hiway 2 ditches between the base and Grand Forks would be lined with cars in the ditch. Still kind of like that but a lot less people on the base. we just got another taste of it. On the drive from Fargo yesterday, we could see remnants of ditch encounters with some still awaiting rescue in cluding a south bound semi pointed north in the median at the Buxstan bridge overpass.
