Young veterans more likely to get dangerous jobs than civilian peers

Well, many of them feel indestructable given what they've already experienced...

Perhaps the veterans want to work outdoors where they feel less constricted? Or maybe, just maybe, they want jobs where they can easily find employment while moving about the country?

I took a job in corrections as I didn't want to be tied to a desk forever. Then I took a desk job after a while because I wanted set hours vice shift work.
