Why SpaceX Bought a Robotic Dog

As I usually do when I have a little time on my hands on a Sunday, I came across an interesting short video regarding Space X's purchase of a Robotic 'Dog'! Yep! That's right, a Robotic 'Dog'... Belive it or not, there are plans to send one of these to Mars although it may be awhile... as this Robotic 'Dog' will be best used when a human crew lands on Mars! Here is what the producer of this video had to say when the video was uploaded to YouTube:

"Over the last couple of years, SpaceX have been rapidly building and testing their Starship prototypes. But in order to get the most out of each test, SpaceX had to buy and hire a robotic dog from Boston Dynamics. This video looks at how SpaceX are using their robotic dog and how similar robotic creatures could be used when we send the first humans to Mars."
