The army first received the HH-60M MEDEVAC variant in 2012.
It is operated by a four-person crew: pilot, co-pilot, flight medic, and crew chief.
It has a top speed of nearly 162 mph and a maximum range of 275 nautical miles.

"The external rescue hoist can hold up to 9,000 pounds." The external hoist is only good for up to 600 lbs. The cargo hook has a limit of 9000.. Silly journalists..

Absolutely correct, saw some more silly journalist stuff in some recent articles, once where I was misquoted also from Fort Bliss. Oh well.......peanut galleries are full of sharpshooters, good call!
