The WalMart nearest my home is undergoing this 'remodel.' The place is such a mess it's unbelievable.
Our community is under a mandatory mask mandate and this store is so discombobulated that aisles are barely wide enough to get one cart through, let alone two pass. Stock is moving all over the place. Ask an employee where such-and-such is they will escort you to the location only to find that it is not there. They look it up again and their at a loss because it cannot be found.
Shopping there has become a scavenger hunt. I have better things to do with my time.
This 'remodel' has already taken 12 weeks and 'they' (employees) say it will be at least 3 more months before it's complete.
IMHO - they should close the doors until it's completed and then have a Grand reopening. As for me, I seriously doubt I'll be going back. Have found other places to shop where it's more appealing and I don't have to cashier my own purchases.
