Unit Clerk
Personnel actions, payroll actions, etc.
Unit CAS3 for USAR & ARNG officers. Members were scattered among 9 states where classes were conducted. Administered all actions via correspondence and telephone. Occasional TDY visits to each class to conduct record reviews, etc.
Staff at unit consisted of 16 personnel filling S1, S3 and S4 functions. Annual Training was at Ft Leavenworth KS in July/Aug every year.

IMA Soldier
Assigned to Readiness Organization at Ft Gordon GA where I attended AT every April. Actively completed Army correspondence courses to maintain MOS proficiency.
Also attached to ROTC BN, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I worked for the Professor of Military Science - updating syllabi, attending PT 3x/wk, assisting with student assignments.
In addition - assisted the local West Point 'recruiter' with conducting sessions familiarizing students with opportunities at WP and how to be considered - application process etc.
