Yet, incumbents continue to be re-elected! They posture and pontificate improvement for their intentions. But, they have short memories and forget their promises to the voters. SSgt (Join to see)

Aren’t we kind of complicit in that though? If they don’t keep their promises and we we reward that behavior, it’s partly on us.

CSM Charles Hayden I do, if they’re the best person for the job. I try not to vote for anyone just *becuase* they are an incumbent though.

For President - that choice is mostly made for us - unfortunately. Only about 20% of the voters that would vote in the main election vote during a primary. On the flip side, that means your vote is easily 5 times more meaningful...
