Thank You LTC Stephen Ford. I have been seeking the “REAL” story of the Vietnam War...I have been totally engrossed in your video share and numerous ones after...the songs I heard during these videos have now taken on a very different meaning for me. I am definitely Thankful for your Share and the last two hours of videos I watched. I wanted a
first-hand account of this war from the Brave men who were drafted and survived. I only knew what I heard on the news and what I learned from the few who discussed their experiences. My 11th grade Algebra teacher had been a chopper pilot. At least once or twice a month, he showed us movies from his time in Vietnam. He never really talked about it, just allowed the films to speak for themselves. “Born th be Wild” used to mean riding on the back of a Harley, now it has an entirely different meaning. I was in High School during the Kent State incident. Things were SO confusing for me and my friends. We did NOT support continued involvement in Vietnam; yet I Never disrespected the Brave, Young who were drafted and returned home. No one ever really talked about their experiences and I am beginning to understand why. At home we were fighting racial discrimination and the Soldiers and Marines in Vietnam were Brothets banded together for survival. These videos have given me a glimpse into this war. Thank You for this incredible real information. Bless You My Brother and CPT Durish and ALL My Brothers who Nravely served during this War which No One Really Understood or will Ever Fully Underdtand..,
