MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. they can’t keep paperwork straight! During the height of the pandemic critical VA workers were working from home and healthcare was compromised due to uploading issues. In addition, HIPPA was being violated and I brought this to the Privacy Officers attention. These workers don’t see patients, there was no need fir them to work from home!

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - but I do enjoy a good sermon... lets me know it's not just me.

I'm happy to say that our VA Center (Butler, PA) is rather efficient compared to all the horror stories about the VA system. In fact, it's been said that it should be a model for the entire VA system. Yes, they do have some internal issues - nepotism and cronyism with promotions and job hiring, but patient wise, they do pretty darn good.

Maybe overall they have problems, but here in South Texas they’re doing a good job, at least in my experience. They provide me a highly skilled primary care provider, a team of neurologists to handle my Parkinson’s, a dental clinic to keep my teeth in good shape, a podiatrist to work on my old Infantryman’s feet and an online pharmacy to supply me with meds by mail. The heart of the program is the Audie Murphy Memorial VA Medical Center in San Antonio with several satellite clinics in surrounding suburbs. I’m grateful for their service.
