Thanks for making us aware LTC Ivan Raiklin, Esq. that the USA is considering sending more forces to Afghanistan. Well my old friends General Joe Votel and General Raymond Tony Thomas seem to have things well in hand. I learned our friend LTG Stephen Lanza who has served as the commanding general of I Corps at Joint Base Lewis is retiring in early June.
I am too old and have too many disabilities to serve in Afghanistan. FYI in 2011 or so a retired MG suggested I go to Afghanistan to serve on a contract. If my health was better I would have loved to go.
