This "investigation" has done nothing but muddy the waters about what happened especially since several people clearly lied under oath about what happened that day.

I wouldn't trust Chris Miller as far as I could throw the Pentagon. He was a terrible SECDEF and is as slimy as a snake oil salesman. The question that has been asked and answered is "did Trump request 10,000 National Guardsmen"? Yes, and that request was turned down.

They'll cover up the fact that the DC mayor didn't want them. They were afraid of the "optics." Same reason Capitol Police were denied help from the Guard.
