The Federalist Papers are a collection of essays written in the 1780s in support of the proposed U.S. Constitution and the strong federal government it advocated.

I agree. The Federalist Papers should be required reading for students. However, the party controlling education doesn't want anyone to be able to read, so there's that.
I also think judges need to look to the writings as well.
